Lesvos Safari Tours

Day 1

We depart from Molyvos at 08:30 am for the ecological path Klapados - Lafiona –Agios Alexandros, view along the path is unique, offering distant forest-filtered views of the coastline and the villages on the northern part of the island. We stop to Ypsilometopo village for refreshment and we visit a pale Christian church where a piece of mosaic has left from the Ottomans, then we drive to Pelopi and the first top of Lepetimnos Mountain for a unique view of the coasts. Our day finishes to Tsonia beach with a B.B.Q.

Day 2

We leave Tsonia at 08:30 heading to Agia Paraskevi off the road where we will visit the Kremasti Bridge, built in the 14th or 15th century before the Turkish conquest, it was once part of an important trade route between Mytilene and the north of the island, and has survived six hundred years in almost perfect condition. Then the temple of Apollo, a sign of devotion of the inhabitants to the god. Next the remains of an Early-Christian basilica of Halinardou, it is believed that this church constituted the nave of a small monastery and dates in the second half of the 6th century A.D. Heading south we find the temple of Messa, an Aeolian centre of worship with some remains of an Ionic temple pavilion. Our last stop for the day is Skala Neon Kydonion where we stay for the night and enjoy our dinner at a fish tavern.

Day 3

Heading North we take the gravel road to Agios Stefanos, an old small church and the ovens that the locals used for the ceramics, continiuing North we reach Madamados where we can visit the Monastery of Taxiarhis and some ceramic workshops. 7Km Northern we reach a gravel road that leads us to the second top of Lepetimnos Mountain for an awesome view. We return back to the main road to Skala Sykamia for swimming and Lunch. Our tour ends in Molyvos at 20:00 pm.
